Smartest vs Funniest Person

I’d rather be the funniest person. Being smart has its value, however I think being able to communicate well with people is far more useful. I hold comedy in high regard because not everyone can tell a good joke. I feel like a funny person needs to be able to sense the feeling of the room and the people in it. Certain jokes only work well with certain people. Funny people are able to read people well which arguably may be more difficult than being smart.
