I thought that Colby’s talk about “Sea Biscuit” was pretty cool because he mentioned there being a horse shoe of a famous horse on the Iolani campus. I also heard more about the mountain climbing book which seems like a good book, but doesn’t sound like something that I would be interested in reading since I’m not into hiking. I was shocked when David sneakily mentioned there being cannibalism in his whaling story as well. However for now I’m still not sure what book I will read next.

Like you, no book really jumped out to me. People gave great reviews but no book really fit my interests. I did think of Colby’s book since it has a connection to the school. However, Colby seemed to not like it that much. I am still trying to find a book to read for the quarter. I also really liked your review Larry. We read the same book and it was nice to hear a different perspective of the book.
