One of my favorite ‘Iolani Fair memories is when I worked my first fair shift in 7th grade. I signed up with a friend of mine and together we were in charge of one of the game booths for three hours. Standing for 3 hours straight was definitely tough, but it was cool to watch people pass by and talk to those who chose to play.
I can very much relate to you. Like you, I worked a three hour shift in a game booth in seventh grade (probably eighth too). Honestly, standing for that long was the most difficult part of the shift. I was working with my friends, so that helped to pass the time a lot, especially when the crowd was slow.
